CCi North America is now recruiting for a Construction Delay Claims Consultant who will work under the direction of the Regional Director in Holmdel, NJ. The ideal candidate should have experience with construction delay/CPM schedule analysis with an in-depth knowledge of scheduling and Primavera P6 software. Assessing and analyzing damages related to construction project delays, time extensions, acceleration and loss of productivity. This will require the use of Critical Path Methodology (CPM) schedule analysis and research of relevant construction project documentation.
Reviewing and analyzing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project schedules and performing impact analysis.
Creating issue files and writing course of action.
Writing project related issues and understanding basics of how impact claims are constructed.
Preparing charts and assisting in the preparation of professional reports.
Requirements and Technical Skills:
3+ years professional experience in construction claims work.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related degree from an accredited university. Advance degree preferred.
Schedule/Delay Analysis experience; must have general knowledge of construction claims and delay analysis. This includes in-depth knowledge of scheduling, techniques and how electronic schedules and software operate.
Background using Primavera P6 and MS Project with the ability to use these programs comfortably.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and functions such as V-lookup, Match, Indirect, Sum product, Search, Find, Pivot tables etc. Proficiency with MS Office; Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
An analytical, problem-solving approach.
Capacity to work independently, manage his/her time efficiently and show initiative where necessary. In addition, he/she should be driven, self-motivated and organized.
Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draw clear, concise conclusions and communicate these conclusions to a high standard.
Valid Driver’s License, US Citizenship or Green Card and ability to work freely in the US without any VISA requirements.
Live within a 45 minute commuting distance of Holmdel, NJ.
Willingness to travel occasionally to project locations in the US.
In addition, the following skills would be advantageous, but are not essential:
Previous work experience in a consultancy role.
Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to interact in group networking events, communicate effectively and increase the awareness in the US market of CCi and its services.
PE license or working towards one would be a PLUS.
