The EPCM Controller is responsible for providing the information to enable the control, performance measurement and ongoing management of EPCM services. Such responsibilities include confirming, loading, maintaining and managing changes to times codes, obtaining progress from various systems, analyzing performance and variances and reporting thereon.

- Familiarization with Hatch safety processes, protocols and procedures.
EPCM Control
- JV partner using corporate time recording system, receive, validate and convert partner time charges
- Setup and maintain the project timesheet system including the establishment of Time Charge codes and associated WBS structures and budgets
- Setup and maintain the EPCM performance measurement system including the establishment of baseline estimates (hours and costs), work hour and progress curves
- Collect and collate progress information, actual workhours (including JV partner hours where required)
- Generate, check and distribute project reports related to EPCM services including liaising with responsible managers to resolve any issues relating to the quality of the reports. Potential issues include the accuracy of actual workhours and progress data and the quality of the current estimate at completion.
- Maintain all staffing plans for the EPCM team
- Maintain, in consultation with the relevant department and discipline leads, the forecast hours to go and/or estimate at completion based on performance to date and the project staffing plans.
- Work with Project Change and Trend coordinator to ensure that the EPCM services budget and forecast are aligned with the project change and trend registers and provide input to these registers as appropriate.
- Maintain key dates of the engagements in the performance measurement system
You bring to the role:
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or relevant discipline or appropriate project related experience
- Exposure to a multidiscipline project environment
- Working knowledge of Change and Trend management and associated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting final costs, cash flows and estimating
- Interpersonal and good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy (MS Office package). SAP experience would be an advantage.
Preferred
- Knowledge of EPCM principals, and the ability to interpret and verify Incentive agreements
- Time management
- Planning and organizing
- Verbal and written communications including report writing and presentation.
- 2-7 years of experience
