Role description:
In this role you will have the opportunity to use your experience managing the cost control process and reporting on budget and schedule on large public transit projects.
Role accountabilities:
- Serve as point of contact for the CM for any issues pertaining budget and schedule.
- Manage staff of schedulers and cost estimators performing schedule analysis, cost impact analysis and preparing independent estimates as part of the change and cost control process;
- Interface with the client on project/program budget and schedule and oversee the generation and distribution of budget and schedule reports to the client and funding agencies as required.
- Manage and monitor the reporting of contractor’ progress against approved construction schedule
- Coordinate with Resident Engineer and direct control staff preparing change documentation.
- Manage the review and approval of contractor pay applications in coordination with the Resident Engineer
- Prepare and distribute monthly budget and schedule reports
- Assist with final Project Report
- Significant interface with client's web-based project management system for document control purposes and business process execution
- Proactive identification and mitigation of project and business risks through proper planning, staffing and execution of assignments.
- Manage the Document Control process and files for all project documents including correspondences, reports, minutes, and other records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of experience performing schedule analysis, construction cost control and cost impact analysis on public or transit construction projects.
- Experience with Primavera P6 software.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex project controls concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing eBuilder is a plus.
- Recent experience public or transit construction project/program with a construction value of more than $500 Million is preferred.

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $157,000.
