Construction Project Scheduler:
The Scheduler will work with field and office staff to create and maintain project baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for one or more Project teams. As the Findorff subject matter expert in project scheduling the Scheduler will serve as an internal resource for the company bringing consistency to our project schedules, and ensuring staff is well supported. The role of scheduler includes collaboration with a variety of project teams as primary scheduler, consultant, or advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work onsite in Verona, WI 90% of the time
- Independently work with field and office staff to prepare and provide schedule progress reports
- Work on multiple projects with multiple teams concurrently
- Perform time impact analysis, and track changes that affect the schedule.
- Participate and facilitate project schedule review meetings and attend other project meetings as required.
- Assist field leaders with project scheduling, including strategies for storyboarding a communicating project schedule with subcontractors.
- Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
- Demonstrates servant leadership by focusing on the needs of team members first. Promote cooperation and respect.
- Communicates effectively with all types of positions and people. Encourages open communication to achieve mutual understanding and team success.
- Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Basic understanding of construction estimating and experience with current BIM technology is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience creating and managing large project schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Project is preferred
- Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships based on dependability and honesty
- Strong communication skills including listening, writing, interpersonal, verbal, and nonverbal
- Basic understanding of construction estimating
- Experience with BIM technology is a plus
